Cabin Fever Days

Cabin Fever Days and the Barstool Ski Races are back with our family, community event that takes place in Martin City, Montana, located in the Gateway to Glacier – Badrock Canyon. Celebrate the 43rd Annual Barstool Ski Races at Cabin Fever Days, February 11th -13th 2022.

There are tons of family and adult activities throughout the Cabin Fever Days weekend throughout the Canyon. The Barstool Ski Races are fun for the whole family to watch, with different race classes and two days of racing culminating in the finals on Sunday, February 13th.

Bigfork Whitewater Festival

May 

The Bigfork Whitewater Festival is a historic, local event as either a competitor or spectator during Memorial Day Weekend in Downtown Bigfork.

Bigfork, Montana is located on the north end of Flathead Lake, where the Swan River spills into Bigfork Bay. The last mile of the Swan River, known as the “Wild Mile”, is a class IV section of whitewater. This beautiful and challenging whitewater venue has a scenic nature trail paralleling the north side, giving spectators front row seats for some of the best whitewater action in the area.

Under the big sky festival

July 

“The Under The Big Sky Rodeo, Round-up and Music Festival will kick off on the night of Friday July 15 with a rodeo and performances from Turnpike Troubadours and Paul Cauthen. 

The festival will feature music from more than 30 performing acts such as: Turnpike Troubadours, Lord Huron, Cody Jinks, Black Pumas, Jamey Johnson, Midland,  Trampled By Turtles, Shakey Graves, Zach Bryan, Margo Price, Morgan Wade, Lainey Wilson, Sierra Ferrell,  Hogslop String Band, American Aquarium, Jamie Wyatt, Leah Blevins, Nick Shoulders, Paul Cauthen, Sierra Hull, Stephen Wilson Jr., Suzanne Santo, The Helnore Highwater Band, The Silent Comedy, Tre Burt, Warren Zelders, Big Sky City Lights, Emily Clark, Hannah King, Honey Bandit, Michelle Rivers, Mynxx and The Lil Smokies.”

Event at Rebecca Farms

July 

One of the largest equestrian events in the Western part of the United States and one that has a mission too!

The event features more than 600 horses,  it has taken place in Kalispell, Montana for more than 20 years and is the biggest horse triathlon west of the Mississippi.

Flathead Cherry Festival

July 

Up here we’re known for some of the best Cherry’s in the US!  The cherry orchards run along the east side of flathead lake and there are a lot of them from Bigfork down to Polson.

This is the festivals 23rd year! It’s located in the quaint downtown of Polson. “ Discover the history of cherries and visit Cherry Alley for more information and activities. Shop a curated selection of artists, vendors, and freshly baked treats. Relax and cool down under the tent by the food court and take it all in. Polson is one unique and beautiful place.”

Bigfork Festival of the Arts

August

“2022 celebrates the 44th year for the annual Bigfork Festival of the Arts is a favorite among artists and visitors alike. We are excited to be hosting this event and ask for your patience and support as we navigate a new festival layout and new regulations.  Our well attended Festival fills the village of Bigfork with a fine selection of art, crafts, food, music and other entertainment on both Saturday and Sunday. You are invited to be a part of this special weekend. Many exhibitors have declared that this is their favorite show of the summer.”

NW Montana Fair

August 

“With 120 years of tradition, the NW Montana Fair & Rodeo comes alive each year in August featuring three nights of PRCA Rodeo action, a huge concert, exciting carnival rides, and fabulous fair food.

Fair highlights include amazing local talents, the Livestock Show and Sale, and offerings from more than 100 commercial exhibitors. The heart of the Fair is over 8,000 hand-crafted, created, personally raised or grown exhibits showcasing the interests, talents, and passions of our regional residents. From quilts to mini-horses, flowers to rabbits, you’re sure to experience blue-ribbon displays throughout the fair.”
